Our philosophy is to maintain a balance between the built environment and the natural environment. Our goal is to design your project to be an integrated part of the landscape.
Bike and Pedestrian Facilities:
Our interest with bike and pedestrian facilities began in 1986 with the Stowe Recreation Path. Since then we have assisted well over thirty communities throughout northern New England with their planning and design efforts. We can assist your community in all aspects of planning for a path, from organizing a citizen’s committee, generating community support, selecting a funding source, and providing a conceptual alignment analysis, to the actual design, permitting and construction inspection. We offer these services in-house, which eliminates having to coordinate with multiple firms and sources.  All of these factors enable us to be thorough, efficient, and an excellent choice for your project.
Current examples of our willingness to develop new and innovative designs are evidenced by Keck Circle in Montpelier (New England's first modern roundabout) and the Stowe Recreation Path (the 119th Point of Light and designated as a National Recreation
